Bumble Bee Jasper is not really a true jasper, but a complex calcium carbonate mineral with inclusions. These inclusions are caused by sulfur (yellow), calcium/aragonite (white), Orpiment/realgar (orange) & pyrite (black). It was discovered only in Indonesia in 1990’s Papandayan Volcano in West Java Province. This is an extremely rare occurrence in nature.
